Dr Shujaat Ali Khan is an Associate Professor in the Department of English of Mirza Ghalib College Gaya, Bihar. He has an experience of teaching more than 16 years at college level. He has also had a good foreign experience of teaching English in a college of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University of KSA. His areas of interest of teaching are Poetry and Phonetics. Presently, he is also working on Comparative Literature, touching the literatures of English, Urdu & Hindi. Currently, he is officiating as the Vice Principal of Mirza Ghalib College Gaya. He has served as the Professor In charge of the college on a number of occasions. He represents all the staff of the college in the Governing Body of the College as a Teachers’ Representative (TR). He is also serving as the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the college. He has participated and presented papers in numerous UGC sponsored national and international seminars. He was also a part of a workshop organised by Al Kharj University, KSA. Organising Seminar, G.D, Debate, Extempore, Quiz and other academic activities has been a vital part of his job profile. He also takes keen interest in all academic and extra-curricular activities of the college. He has already supervised two awarded Ph.Ds. and is presently supervising one. He has published a number of articles in various journals. He has obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching English (PGCTE) from the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) Hyderabad. He has done an Annual Refresher Programme in English Language Teaching (ARPIT) 2019 (Online Course) from Ministry of Human Resources and Development, National Resource Center, Gujarat University through SWAYAM Portal. He is also a member of the Association for English Studies of India (AESI).
